The missions within cash transportation

Brink's transports not only cash (bank notes and coins) but also other methods of payment such as check books and checks issued, bank cards, meal tickets, holiday checks. Brink's transports for banking establishments, businesses, service companies and public services.

One of the principal tasks of Brink's is to carry out, securely, deliveries of cash necessary for the economic activity of bank branches and businesses, and to collect the money transferred and the receipts for transactions made by their clients.

Security and regulations

The valuables entrusted to Brink's must be transported according to legislation for security equipment and set-up of delivery or treatment sites.

In terms of equipment, Brink's goes one step further with its regulations for even better protection of valuables and people :
Transport is carried out by a fleet of 650 armoured vehicles. Transportation is further protected by GPS tracking of these vehicles, organization of the extremely rigorous security procedures and the latest technology for the protection of funds.

The security guards are armed and trained to be vigilant. The funds collected are stored and processed in 79 branches which serve all of France including the French overseas department and Morocco.

Brink's develops new technological solutions in the security field in its Research and Development laboratories.

Parcel tracking

Brink's also develops parcel tracking systems to protect the tracking of cash in transit to and from client sites.
